Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine We saw several kits of the March 731s in FSW 5/2009 and here we see the first two hand builts, both options from the same kit. James Hunt and the Hesketh team joined the F1 circus at Monaco and foir races later Hunt scored a strong fourth place finish at Silverstone in a car that was deamed uncompetitive by many. With the technical input of Harvey Postelthwait the performances improved culminating in a second place in the season finale at Watkins Glen. The livery also changed, from white with very fine red and blue pinstripes to the more familiar white with broad red and blue stripes seen later. Both models are well finished with the decals neatly applied and attention paid to the subtle aerodynamic changes, which have been added in the form of fine etched parts. Nicely done.
Reasonably well cast white metal kits that build with ease. Open wheeled subjects usually accurate, road cars not always so. With hand-built models again single seaters usually better. Made in England.
