Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Also available RL106C - kit
We saw these subjects in kit form back in FSW 5/2009 and now we see that the kit parts certainly go together well. All of the hand builts that we have here are well finished, the very fine pinstriping on the Mike Beuttler car being particularly noteworthy. The Williamson and Jarier cars were both factory entries and are extremely similar in decoration as a result, Jarier having taken over following Williamson's death at Zandvoort, where his close friend David Purley had tried in vain to rescue him from his fiery crash. This makes the models of the two young Englishmen's cars particularly poignant.
Reasonably well cast white metal kits that build with ease. Open wheeled subjects usually accurate, road cars not always so. With hand-built models again single seaters usually better. Made in England.
