Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Hillman Avenger Tiger 1972 Hand built available RPM1330M Launched as a rival to Fords Escort Mexico, the first version of the Avenger Tiger was built by Des O’Dell’s Chrysler Competitions Team and only 200 examples were made of the first generation car seen here. The external giveaways to the tuned engine were alloy wheels, distinctive stripes and a pronounced bonnet bulge. RPM’s kit captured the shape and the details very well looking at the raw parts. There are a few small areas to clean up on the crisply moulded body, mostly around the rear light area which will be covered with etched lights with coloured lenses. The interior tub and baseplate are also resin and fit snugly and the remaining parts are white metal with very fine etch for window frames, grilles etc.
Very well made resin & metal kits and smartly finished hand built models, Made in England.
