Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine The 1976 turbo-charged Group 5 incarnation of the Stratos is most associated with the Giro d’Italia and two took part on this event in 1976, but they also entered a number of other races. The car made its international race debut at Mugello in March 1976 with Brambilla and engine man Facetti sharing the driving and they were out again at Vallelunga, failing to finish each time. Visually the car was extremely similar to how it appeared on the Giro in the autumn of the same year. Reve’s model captures the very aggressive modifications to the original rally car design very nicely. The long tail is well proportioned and we see very crisp modelling of the angular front spoiler and extended side sills. The colours are excellent though we’re not totally sure that the orange should be satin. As you can see from the photo, as supplied the model is missing quite a few sponsor logos but these are easily found and won’t take long to apply to create a pretty accurate model.
