Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Opel Kadett Coupe RAC 1975 Pond Tony Pond’s first proper ‘works’ drive came thanks to his performances in an ex-works Escort impressing Opel Dealer Team manager Tony Fall and resulting in a limited programme in the factory Kadett for 1975. The RAC rally was the last of these outings for Opel as Pond moved to BL the following year but he bowed out with a strong performance finishing fourth overall. Externally Shucho have modelled the car pretty well, apart from getting the colour of the rear registration plate wrong. There is however a fundamental error on the model, Pond was famous for refusing to drive left hand drive cars and event photos show that he was definitely sat on the right of the Kadett. Nearly a very good model.
High quality, well finished die-cast models. Made in Germany.
