Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Talbot Lago T150C Le Mans 1937 #21 Kit available SLM37021 This Talbot, driven by Chinetti & Chiron was forced to stop after just three laps with mechanical issues and only managed a further four before retiring from the 1937 Le Mans race. SLM’s Christian Gouel has captured the shape of the car pretty well in his pattern. On the real car the spare wheel was in a compartment behind the seats with the centre and spinner visible through a hole in the top. On the hand built model we see that this spare wheel is rather deep inside due to the thickness of the resin. Also on the hand built the headlamp bowls are painted body colour but a photo that we have from the rear showing the car receiving attention in the pits suggests that they were chromed. Otherwise the hand built model is very well finished. The fine wire wheels have been painted for added realism and overall it makes for a good looking miniature.
