Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Talbot Lago T150C Le Mans 1949 #7 Kit available SLM49007 This is a re-issue of a model first made by SLM a few years ago. The model differs very slightly when compared to most of the rest of the range in that the baseplate is resin rather than white metal, otherwise we see a usual mixture of resin body, white metal ancillaries, fine wire wheels and a modest amount if very delicate etch for the finishing touches. The subject is very different to the other Talbots in this batch of releases and was a lightweight special built specifically for the race. It was fast but the Rosier brothers were forced to retire after just twenty one laps with a punctured radiator. The hand built model is generally well built but our sample, unusually for SLM, has a few blemishes beneath the paint.
