Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Skoda Sport Le Mans 1950 #44 Also availble SLM50044M built Like Citroen, Skoda has only taken the start at Le Mans once, with this pretty lightweight roadster in 1950. At first glance of the kit parts the body looked rather long and shallow, but once matched up to the chassis plate with the deep returns on the lower edges things look much better. The car has been modelled this way in part to simplify painting and so we see a perfect line between the red lower and white upper bodywork on the hand built model. The small detailing is also neatly fitted and the model checks out pretty well with period race photos. There are also plenty of images around of the car in restored form as this fascinating little machine has been a regular at the Le Mans classic for the past few years.
