Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Introduced in 1984 and with engine development in conjunction with Andy Rouse, the TVR 390SE was the fastest car produced by the Blackpool firm by some margin (until the 420 SE came along a few years later). Visually the car differed from earlier TVR ‘wedges’ in having a deep front air dam and a novel underbody spoiler to the rear. Spark have modelled a very specific car as the model has a non-standard rear boot spoiler too. The basic shape looks good and the dark blue metallic paint is well applied. That boot spoiler is very clumsy though and the British number plates are slightly over sized.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
