Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Triumph TR3 Mk1 Introduced in October 1955 the TR3 was little different to the TR2 that preceded it, the most obvious external difference being an ‘egg box’ radiator grille insert. An occasional rear seat was also an option but as seen here on the model, unless the seats were all the way forward it was of little use unless your passengers were amputees. The chrome windscreen frame is a little chunky but otherwise the model is very well proportioned with excellent paint and the extremely fine chrome trim between the main body and wheelarch panels is particularly well done.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
