Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine The detail that grabs the attention when looking at this model is the finish, which is one of the most convincing bare aluminium surfaces that we’ve seen on a manufacturer produced model to date. Eric Broadley’s first Lola raced with some success in its maiden season and by the end of 1958 he stopped racing to concentrate on building customer cars. He did best in smaller capacity sportscar races but finished mid field in the mixed grid for the Goodwood TT, the race depicted here. The shape of the low-slung racer looks very good, as we’ve already said the paint is excellent and looking inside the cockpit we see etch for the floor, rear bulkhead and transmission tunnel. Most importantly it all matches race photos. One of Spark’s finest models to date.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
