Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Following the sale of his original Broadley Special in 1959, Eric Broadley set to work on an all new light weight race car using a spaceframe chassis, slippery aluminium bodywork and a Climax FWA engine. It proved fast, winning on its second outing and there was sufficient interest that in 1960, Lola Cars was born and production racers started appearing. This model depicts one of those first batch of cars and the model is well finished with some neat detailing, particularly around the cockpit. Itís a tricky shape to get right and though the model is very close, it does look a little heavy around the front wheelarch area.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
