BRM P57 Germany 1964 Baghetti by Spark
The BRM P57 looks very smart in the red of Scuderia Centro Sud and it was in this form that Baghetti took the start of the German Grand Prix, though he only lasted two of the fifteen laps before a broken throttle linkage halted proceedings. The model is very smartly finished with neat decal placement and plenty of suspension detail, though we do have a query over the wheel colour. In two of the three colour images that we have found they appear to be gold and judging by the number of cars and spectators we think that these are race rather than practice shots.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
