Lancia Beta Le Mans 1982 #66 Sivama by Spark
Alternative version SPK1387 #65
The Italian independent team Sivama took over two of the ex-works Lancia Monte Carlo Turbos for 1982, the factory concentrating on the LC1 prototype. It wasn’t a hugely successful season for the outfit but there was a high point at Le Mans with the #66 car finishing twelfth overall and winning the class, despite electrical problems during the race. The decals on the model are all neatly applied over a decent white paint finish and there are a few neat detail touches such as the etched braces from the front splitter to the bonnet.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
