Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Triumph Spitfire Mk4 1971 White The most obvious changes to the Triumph Spitfire when the Mk4 was launched at the end of 1970 was the styling, the front becoming much smoother and the rear receiving a sharply cut off tail in keeping with larger models in the range such as the Dolomite, Stag and 2000 series. Changes under the skin were equally significant, the suspension now redesigned to tame the infamous swing axle tuck and vicious oversteer it could induce. Spark have modelled a specific car, so one or two trim details aren’t quite right for the year stated, but only a saddo who’s spent far too long around Triumphs (guilty) would notice!
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
