Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine This was originally listed as a Mini Cooper but such a beast didn't yet exist in 1960 as Cooper were one of many companies getting to grips with BMC's pocket-sized saloon. One of the front runners in Mini tuning at the time were Speedwell, who employed an up an coming racing driver named Graham Hill as their chief (in reality only) mechanic. No race is specified for this model and we've been unable to pin it down precisely, but the model is smartly finished in the correct pale 'Speedwell Blue' (not grey as pre-production shots showed) and everything is neatly fitted.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
