Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Lotus 109 Europe 1994 Bernard Alternative version SPK1670 Herbert SPK1671 Zanardi SPK1679 Adams & SPK1780 Salo This is one of those “if you can’t be quick, be pretty” subjects as Lotus struggled for performance during 1994. With Lotus in administration by the GP of Europe, Ligier bought Herbert out of his contract and Eric Bernard inherited his seat, only staying for the one race. It was certainly a good looking machine, especially from above and Spark has done an excellent job of replicating the decoration. This has all been done in decal, so the finish is satin over most of the car, but the colours and printing are nice and clear and overall the details appear accurate.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
