Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Tyrrell started the season with virtually no sponsorship but the early races saw reasonable results and they were able to attract consumer electrical goods maker Candy as a title sponsor, coming on board in Belgium. In this race the livery hadnít been finalised so there were simple Candy logos on the car, though the sponsors saw their name on the podium, as they did at Silverstone. With team leader Jarier laid up in a Paris hospital bed, Tyrrell were going to run just one car in Germany but a last minute deal saw Geoff Lees make his F1 debut in the car. His measured approach impressed the team and he steadily progressed over the weekend, eventually finishing a very creditable seventh. The models are neatly finished and look pretty good when compared with race photos. The wing endplates and ground effect skirts are nice and thin, clever use of decal and clear domes give the impression of mesh on the intake trumpets and it all sits just right.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
