Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine A neat and tidy design by Ralph Bellamy, the Lotus 74 was built to contest the European F2 title, Fittipaldi and Peterson entered under the Texaco Stars banner. The season was not a success, the two-litre slant four engine was neither reliable nor powerful enough and Fittipaldi walked away after only handful of races. It was attractive though and Spark’s model captures the shape pretty well and the decoration superbly. At many races the car had a wide shovel nose but at Rouen it was more akin to that on the F1 72 and 76 that replaced it.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
