Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Lotus 11 Le Mans 1956 #32 Colin Chapman entered three examples of the new Eleven at Le Mans in 1956, this being the car that he drove himself, sharing with Herbert Mackay-Fraser. Unfortunately, the race was one of many retirements and this Lotus suffered engine failure. The overall shape of the car looks very good and the body is neatly moulded with rivet detail in the upper body surfaces. The white edges to the seats are rather exaggerated but otherwise the smaller parts are neatly fitted and well detailed, with a great texture to the seat covers and dash panel, neatly cut vac-form windscreen and excellent wire wheels.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
