Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Tyrrell 010 Canada 1980 Thackwell Alternative version SPK1883 Jarier SPK1884 Daly & SPK1886 Wilson New Zealander Mike Thackwell became the youngest driver to start a Grand Prix when he made his debut in Canada in 1980, although that appearance was extremely short lived after a first lap pile up. Thackwell had managed to avoid damage but was forced to give his car up for Jarier to drive in the restart. The basic livery of the car is little different to the other 010s that we’ve seen recently from Spark but there are a couple of subtle changes to the colours and shapes of small details. These are well observed and the bright colour scheme is smartly replicated on a well finished model.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
