Spark are giving the WTCC plenty of attention this year and where better to start than with the Citroen team who had a dream debut to the series. Pre-season it was the French aces Yvan Muller and Sebastien Loeb who grabbed the headlines, but it was the young Argentinean Jose Maria Lopez who dominated the championship with ten wins. Multiple WRC champion Loeb had a steep learning curve but was also a race winner and regular podium finisher. The livery isn’t perhaps the most exciting but the cars certainly look purposeful and Spark’s well finished models capture the shapes well. There’s a decent level of interior detail, carbon is used where necessary outside and overall they look the part.

Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars.
