Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Chevrolet Camaro SS Indy 500 Pace Car 1967 Providing the pace car for the Indy 500 is a matter of great prestige for American car makers and Chevrolet celebrated the launch of their new Camaro by supplying an SS specification convertible version for the 1967 race. Ex-Indy 500 racer Maury Rose was the nominated driver and the car was finished in white with blue interior and blue and gold signwriting on the sides. The overall look of the car is very good and the application and finish of the decals and trim is excellent. Our only gripe is that those yellow flags on the rear should be much larger, coming over half way down the mounting poles.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
