Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Delahaye 145 Le Mans 1938 #2 Alternative version SPK2725 #1 The competition Delahaye 145 appeared both in Grand Prix races with open wheels and in sportscar races such as Le Mans with mudguards fitted. Two cars were entered at Le Mans, leading the opening lap and battling for the lead during the first hour, but both cars retired early with mechanical issues. Sparkís model captures the difficult shape of the car pretty well and the rivet detailing cast into the body surfaces is excellent. The very fine wire wheels on our sample arenít quite centred correctly but through them we see realistic brake drums and there is plenty of other very delicate detailing on the model, right down to headlamp cover bags for daylight running.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
