Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Aston Martin Vantage Le Mans 2013 #95 When Spark initially released their list of model from the 2013 Le Mans race, this subject wasnít on it as it is the car which Alan Simonsen crashed on the third lap. The change of heart came as many collectors wish to pay tribute to the driver and many also collect full grids! As with the other Gulf sponsored Vantages from the race, Spark have the physical details of the car very well replicated, the main pale blue paint finish is excellent and there is plenty of carbon decaling. The sponsorship isnít quite complete for the race, a couple of small decals missing from the doors, but it is correct for qualifying when Simonsen was fastest in the GTE Am category. You will need to apply the driverís name decals to the roof and once done, you will have a fitting tribute to a fast and popular driver.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
