Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Bentley Corniche 14th Le Mans 1950 #12 Alternative version SPK3816 1949 & SPK3819 1951 This car is better known as the Embiricos Bentley, named after its first owner who took delivery of the streamlined road car in 1938, but it was the second owner, HSF Hay, who raced it extensively. 1950 was the second of three Le Mans outings, Hay and Hunter finishing fourteenth overall. The basic shape of the car looks excellent, the pearl grey paint has a very fine grain and the decals are correctly placed. The only small detail is that the vents in the rear wings only had the re-enforcement bars across them in the 1949 race, not the following years.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
