Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Arrows FA1 Brazil 1978 Patrese Alternative version SPK3901 Stommelen South Africa & SPK3902 Patrese Sweden The first car from the new Arrows team was designed (although a judge later disagreed!) and built in just two months and made its race debut in Brazil, arriving completely untested. For this race the car wore a simple white livery with backing from Brazilian airline Varig and development was clearly ongoing through practice as the vent detail varies in photos. The model matches well those images which are clearly from the race and is a decent representation of the car with which Patrese finished tenth despite fuel pickup issues.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
