Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Williams FW05 USA 1976 Brown Alternative version SPKSJ020 Kuwashima Japan SPK4044 Andretti International Trophy SPK4045 Ickx South Africa & SPK4046 Leclere South Africa Tasman champion Warwick Brown made his only F1 start at the 1976 US Grand Prix aboard the ex-Hesketh FW05 now run under Walter Wolf’s colours, the Australian recording a finish, albeit fourteenth and last. Two weeks later at Fuji, Masami Kuwashima was one of many local entries and his mount was the same chassis, although he failed to qualify. The difference in decoration between the two versions is very subtle but has been well observed and the overall finish is excellent, with the very fine gold pinstripes precisely placed over the deep blue paint. There are a few easily found decals to apply and placement for these is very obvious.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
