Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ford GT40 6th Le Mans 1969 #68 We usually associate both Helmut Kelleners and Reinhold Joest with German machinery, Porsches of course in the latter case, but both made their Le Mans debuts as drivers at the wheel of this GT40, owned by Hans Lehmann, proprietor of the Deutsche Auto Zeitung press group. They drove a safe and steady race to finish in a fine sixth overall and top private entrant. They were also the only privateers to finish the race in a GT40 in any year. The car is well modelled with a decent shape and carefully applied decals. Little details such as the race tape around the headlights add interest.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
