Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ford GT40 Le Mans 1968 #10 Gulf Alternative version SPKLM068 #9 & SPK4070 #11 The second of the three Gulf Wyer entries at Le Mans in 1968, this GT40 driven by Hobbs and Hawkins started from fifth position but lost two hours having the clutch changed and then the engine blew shortly after re-joining the race. When we saw Spark’s model of the winning car from 1968 one gripe was that the vents in the side windows had no open panel in them. Not so this time, the neatly cut openings have a clear flap in place. The overall finish on our sample is very good, with excellent paint and carefully placed decals.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
