Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Porsche 907 1st Targa Florio 1968 #224 1968 was a good year for Vic Elford. He won the Monte Carlo rally in January, a week later shared victory in the Daytona 24 Hours and with Umberto Maglioli and triumphed on the Targa Florio despite losing 18 minutes on the opening lap with a puncture! There are plenty photos of the car in action to compare the model with and if anything it is too well finished. The yellow semi-circle identification mark on the left of the car is a little long and low but otherwise the decoration is excellent and the roof has the correct cut-out to allow for a little more headroom.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
