Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine TWR Joest Le Mans 1996 #8 FAT Alternative version SPKLM096 1996 winner The TWR chassis beneath Joest’s two spiders at Le Mans in 1996 dated back to the early 1990s having originally appeared as Jaguars, then Mazdas and now Porsches. This second car qualified on pole but was the unlucky machine throughout the race, suffering a series of mechanical and electrical issues before finally being withdrawn in the last hour. The decoration on the car looks good, the shape is decent and there is the usual fine detailing that we expect with etched rear wing supports and endplates.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
