Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine BRM P83 Monaco 1967 Spence Alternative version SPK4251 Stewart Although Jim Clark had won a race with the H16 engine in a Lotus, the first points for BRMís engine in their own chassis came with Mike Spence at Monaco with sixth place and this was followed a few weeks later by Jackie Stewart finishing second in Belgium, the best result for the combination. For the high speeds of Spa there is a tail fairing fitted, while at Monaco the engine and transmission were almost completely exposed. The bodywork changes are well observed and there is plenty of detail on the drivetrain parts. Sparkís interpretation of the tricky BRM green colour is perhaps a little pale but they are consistent across their models with it.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
