Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Brabham BT49 Canada 1979 Lauda Alternative version SPK4788 Piquet The Canadian Grand Prix was the first appearance for the new Brabham BT49 and also the last (for a few years) for Niki Lauda who decided after the first practice session that his heart was no longer in racing and it would be safer for everyone if he retired. His crash helmet was seen in the car during qualifying though as replacement Zunino had to borrow it! The crisp lines of the car are neatly modelled and the decoration on the car is all neatly applied. A couple of small, easily found decals will need fitting on the crash helmet for absolute accuracy.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
