Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Jaguar D Type 2nd Le Mans 1957 #15 Alternative version SPK4389 6th & SPKLM057 1st Jaguar had no official entries at Le Mans in 1957 but there were many familiar faces in the pit of Duncan Hamiltonís green car and both Ecurie Ecosse entries were ex-works chassis. The Hamilton car didnít have a high gloss finish but there should be a little more shine than the satin paint coat seen on the model. The Ecosse car is much better with a good clear coat over the fine metallic paint and the pale green seats show some realistic looking weathering.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
