Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Porsche 906 Le Mans 1966 #33 Alternative version SPK4490 #34 & SPK4491 #58 There were six 906s at Le Mans in 1966, a trio of long-tailed cars battling for overall honours and these three short-tailed machines in the Sports class. Numbers 33 and 58 were works cars, the latter winning the category, and #34 was a supported private entry for Robert Buchet. This is the prettiest of the three with a French Tricoleur stripe diagonally across the red front hatch, but all three are very smartly finished. The decoration matches race photos well and we see the correctly edited supplier’s logos typical for this particular year’s race.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
