Spark - Lola T90 American Red Ball Special 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Lola T90 Red Ball Special 1st Indy 500 1966 The Indy 500 didnít even manage a lap in 1966 before the red flags came out, a pile up in the mid-field at turn one blocking the track. When it eventually restarted Graham Hill managed to hang on to win in his Lola. Many photos show different coloured nose trim, mirrors and exhausts on the car but these are press shots from practice and the car as modelled is correct in terms of colours. The mirror mountings should be folded aluminium (or etch on the model) rather than having the mirrors fixed straight to the windscreen, but apart from that it all looks very good.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
