Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Spark are cracking on through the 2011 Le Mans grid and here we have the most important one of them all, the winner, along with its two sister machines, both of which exited the race in spectacular style. Audi’s lone survivor held off a strong attack from the Peugeots to score one of the closest wins in the history of the race, the winning margin just over thirteen seconds at the end of twenty-four hours! Spark’s model looks the part with clean castings and neat masking between the main silver and satin black body colours. Those black panels were carbon on the real thing but the weave was so fine that it’s barely visible in most photos, so we’ll forgive it here. The rest of the decoration is neatly applied too, with clearly printed decals and the correct chrome stripes on the roof section. The #3 car with which McNish nearly vaulted the barriers is very similarly decorated to the winner but with yellow highlights instead of red and the #1 machine has a near reversed livery with plenty of satin black.
