Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Porsche 911 GT1-98 1st Le Mans 1998 Such was the development of the GT1 cars that by 1998 they were closer to Group C prototypes than the road cars that they were allegedly based on and significantly quicker than the open LMP machines. Porsche’s GT1 was the fastest of the cars at Le Mans and the car that eventually won was consistently in the top four so as others hit trouble Porsche capitalised. It was a fine looking machine and Spark has done an excellent job of the shape and the decorations. Etch is used for most of the rear wing and we see lots of subtle carbon decaling.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
