Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Lotus 23 Pikes Peak 1964 #96 Unser Originally delivered to Arciero Brothers in 1962, this Lotus 23 was fitted with a two-litre Climax engine and raced extensively in circuit races by a number of drivers. A 2.7-litre unit was then fitted and the racing continued and then in 1964 Bobby Unser used it to tackle Pikes Peak hillclimb, winning the sports car class by a minute! We’ve found a fantastic overhead colour shot of the car in action and the small details, such as the taped over STP logo on the side, unusual roll bar and drilled nose are all well replicated on the model.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
