BMW M3 (E30) 1st Macau 1987 Ravaglia by Spark
Alternative version SPkSA033 Quester
The Guia circuit around the streets of Macau is an unforgiving place at the best of times, but in 1987 the tail end of Typhoon Nina meant that conditions were very wet. Not that Ravaglia and Quester seemed overly bothered, the Schnitzer BMW drivers trading the lead from the start. Sponsorship was unique for the race with a very smart red and gold Hilton hotels livery and this is well replicated including the correct pit i.d. colours on the b-pillar of the right hand side of the car. Neatly done and very unusual.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
