Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Spa 2014 #32 by Spark
Alternative version SPKSB076 #38 & SPKSB090 #96
Although there were no official Aston Martin factory entries in the Spa 24 Hours, there were AMR supported teams and that support included drivers with Darren Turner on board the #38 car, which finished tenth overall, and Pedro Lamy in #32 which was thirty-seventh. We’d been waiting with interest for the #38 to arrive as the real car has the MP Motorsport logo repeated in tiny font across all of the satin black panels, something that is only visible close up. Unsurprisingly the model has a simple paint finish with neatly applied decals over the top for the more visible sponsorship. The #32 Leonard Motorsport entry is a gloss black with neatly applied yellow stripes and the most visually interesting is the PGF car, with satin black at the front brightened by white and sky blue stripes and a chrome roof. There are carbon panels on all of the cars, wing parts are finely etched and most importantly, they match race photos.

About Spark
The range which changed the 1:43 model market and for which we coined the term 'resincast'. Resin rather than traditional diecast bodies mean that relatively short production runs can be made and what might be marginal subjects become viable. Quality is very consistent with plenty of fine etch used where necessary. A huge range is the result, covering all aspects of (mostly postwar) motorsport and a wide variety of road cars. We typically see around 30 new subjects released per month and pre-orders are strongly recommended. Made in China & Madagascar.
