Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine One of the stranger episodes of Porsche racing history saw the Kremer brothers stockpiling 917 spares and building a ‘new’ car for the 1981 Le Mans 24 hours, taking advantage of a depleted grid caused by regulation changes. It didn’t go too well but undeterred the car was again entered at Brands Hatch and Bob Wollek actually led the race overall before suspension failure. The car is very well modelled and all of the unique details are carefully recreated, with the special rear bodywork, roof mounted mirror and high downforce front and side bodywork.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
