Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Lola T70 Mk3B 1st Magny-Cours 1970 #58 Piper We usually associate David Piper and his BP green machines with Ferrari but for the 1969 season he ran a Lola T70 and this continued into 1970. Piper himself was driving his 917 at Magny-Cours in July and so Jean-Pierre Beltoise was entrusted with the Lola, winning the race. One unusual feature was a wide gurney flap ahead of the radiator exit and this is replicated in etch on the model, as are the tail flaps. The paint finish is excellent, the decals neatly applied and it makes a fine model of a Lola that we donít see very often.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
