Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Matra MS1 1st Montlhery F3 1965 Jaussaud Using aerospace technology to create a light and rigid monocoque chassis, Matra’s first racing car was an instant success with several F3 wins during its maiden season. One of those winners (alongside Ickx and Beltoise) was Jean-Pierre Jaussaud who took the spoils in the Montlhery F3 race. The car is neatly modelled with one choke of the exposed Weber carburettor blanked off and the other fitted with a neat machined intake trumpet, just as the Cosworth engine was equipped. Only 500 examples of the interesting single seater have been made, so be quick.
Very well finished mass produced resin built models. Ever improving detailing now incorporating more use of photoetched details for added finesse and with excellent paint finishes. Made in China
