Ferrari 637 Indy Test 1986 Alboreto by Tron

Hand built available BEE143
The 637 was allegedly built by Ferrari as they were unhappy with proposed F1 regulations which would see a switch to V8 engines, so rather odd that they would choose the V8 only Indycar series as a potential hunting ground. As it was, it only ever tested. The car is modelled as it survives in Ferrari’s museum, with shorter rear endplates and none of the small Marlboro logos seen on the car in period. The kit parts include a well-cast resin body, on which there will be very little clean up needed and photo-etch for the suspension, floor edges, front wings, rear wing endplates and various other small details. The instructions include plenty of information including photos of the real car and the hand built model is well finished, matching the museum photos very well.
