Based on the very successful Abarth 2000 Sport chassis, the example used having been a 1968 race car, Pininfarina’s Scorpione concept was unveiled in 1969 as a potential long distance race car. The mouldings are very crisp with resin used for most parts including a particularly well sculpted engine which will be visible through the rear windscreen. The vent panels either side of this are separate pieces to simplify painting and overall it looks like a very well thought out set of parts that should build with relative ease.
