Lancia Ferrari D50 1st Germany 1956 Fangio 1:18 by CMC
Following the popularity of their 1955 Lancia D50s, CMC move on to the cars from the 1956 season, by this time run under the Ferrari banner. The main external visual change was of course the smoothing in of the side pods and pannier tanks, but much also changed under the skin. the car offered here is the long-nosed version with which Fangio scored victory at the Nurburgring on the way to his fourth World Championship. As always with CMC, there is full chassis and engine detail beneath the well proportioned bodywork, although you will need a screwdriver to get to some of it!
