Ferrari 375MM Plus 1st Seattle 1955 #103 Shelby by Faenza 43

Ferrari 375 Plus 1st Seattle 1955 #103
Ferrari 375 Plus, chassis 0478AM, was delivered new to Tony Paravano’s team and raced initially by Jack McAfee and then Carroll Shelby. Here we see it modelled as Shelby won the Seattle Sea Fair race, his only victory in the car. The decoration is unusual, with the race numbers all applied in tape and plenty more of the beige stuff sealing the bonnet and boot shut and covering the headlights. We have found several photos of the car both in the race and the paddock and Faenza 43 have done an excellent job.

About Faenza 43

Charming hand-built resin models of interesting and often obscure subjects. The various Ferrari and Maserati machines which ended up in SCCA races of the late 50s and early 60s are a particular speciality, but also plenty of machines raced in Europe too. Paint finishes sometimes a little flat )or should that be more realistic!?) but otherwise very good. Made in Italy.

A dedicated team, we provide the personal touch!
