Ferrari 312PB Targa/Various 1972 by Hiro
Ferrari 312PB Targa/Monza/Spa/Ring/Austria 1972
Alternative version HIR43047 Le Mans & HIR43048 Watkins Glen
The core chassis and engine parts of these very well thought out kits are identical and it is in the bodywork and decals that we see the differences. The early season 1972 car has short tail bodywork and there is an additional piece for those building the Targa Florio winner for the spare wheel bulge in the side. This is one of fourteen options offered in this kit with three cars each from Spa, Monza and the Nurburgring and four from Zeltweg. The Le Mans cars are long tails and there are three options offered here. At Watkins Glen Ferrari also ran a three car team, all of which are decal options and this is a short tail car. Close attention is needed for selection and placement of the excellent decals as the instructions show placement on one version only and then include a numbered key to the options. Beneath the multi-piece bodywork there is a very detailed chassis with full suspension and engine included, though you may wish to add some wiring and plumbing.

High detail, multi-media kits for the more experienced builder. Also a selected range of excellent accessory parts for use with resin and plastic kits. Always pushing the latest technology.
In larger scales (1:12, 1:20 & 1:24) bodywork typically in extremely crisp resin with the mechanical parts usually in white metal and plenty of etch and machined metal also included. 1:43 kits made with similar level of detail and precision as the larger offerings, but here the majority of parts are white metal, although in some cases we also see 3D printed resin chassis frames! Also an excellent range of photo reference magazines for a wide range of subjects. Made in Japan.
